Only 20 years old, Bay Area artist Izzakko has already become a standout in the digital art world for her bold designs that seek to uplift the beauty of the Black community and illustrate the Black experience. Her latest NFT is part of The Seneca Women Equality Collection.
Born and raised in Kazakhstan, and now living in Canada, Ola Volo originally made a name for herself as a muralist. Today she’s a star in the NFT world, and her distinctively patterned NFT is part of The Seneca Women Equality Collection. Kim Azzarelli interviews her in this first episode of our special series, Seneca’s Conversations: Women Rule Web3.
Seneca is partnering with Gemini-owned Nifty Gateway The Seneca Women Equality Collection, a special collection of NFTs celebrating women artists and their vision of equality. Artists featured in the collection included not only Ola Volo but Miss Al Simpson, Mercedes deBellard, Monica Rizzolli, Izzakko, and Stina Jones. Seneca Women will also work with Mercedes deBellard to offer an open-edition collection. Seneca Women will invest a portion of the sale proceeds in other women-led Web3 projects.
